This Disclaimer applies to mamasatela.com and to communications and services offered by the individual owner and operator of the website, professionally known as Mama Satela and providing services through the website brand Ancestral House by Mama Satela.

This Disclaimer should be read together with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

 

1. Nature of the Work

Mama Satela performs private, individualized ancestral and spiritual work rooted in hereditary Central European and Slavic traditions and almost twenty years of lived practice and service within Haitian Vodou.

The services consist of active, individually prepared spiritual work. They are not entertainment, a psychic hotline, a standardized reading, a downloadable product or a generic service sold in identical form to every person.

An initial inquiry or case review is used to understand the circumstances and determine whether Mama Satela is willing and able to accept the matter. It does not itself guarantee acceptance or create an obligation to perform work.

 

2. Not Every Problem Is Spiritual

Mama Satela does not claim that every setback, conflict, illness, relationship problem, business difficulty or unexplained experience has a spiritual cause.

Life circumstances, personal decisions, the actions of other people, economic conditions, physical conditions and ordinary events may affect a situation independently of any spiritual consideration.

Information presented on the website is general. Reading the website or receiving an initial response does not mean that a spiritual cause has been identified or that particular work has been recommended.

Each matter must be considered individually before Mama Satela decides whether it belongs within her work.

 

3. No Guaranteed Outcome

No particular result, reaction, event, decision or timetable is promised or guaranteed.

Spiritual work involves circumstances, people, decisions, timing, existing conditions and influences that no practitioner controls completely. Results may differ between cases, develop gradually, appear in an unexpected form or not occur.

Payment is made for Mama Satela’s acceptance of the case, time, experience, assessment, preparation, materials, expenses, spiritual responsibility and performance of the agreed work. Payment is not made in exchange for a guaranteed result.

No statement concerning what the work is intended to address, what may be possible or what occurred in another case constitutes a promise that the same result will occur in a different case.

4. No Medical or Psychological Services

Mama Satela does not diagnose, treat, prescribe for or cure medical or psychological conditions.

Spiritual work is not medical treatment, psychological treatment, crisis intervention or emergency care. No statement made through the website, an inquiry, private correspondence or accepted spiritual work should be interpreted as a medical or psychological diagnosis.

A spiritual interpretation does not establish the cause of a physical or psychological condition and does not replace medical or psychological services.

 

5. No Legal, Financial or Professional Advice

The website, private communications and spiritual services do not constitute:

• Legal advice or legal representation

• Financial, investment or tax advice

• Medical or psychological treatment

• Business management or professional consulting

• Employment, property or contractual representation

• A prediction upon which a person should base a major financial or legal decision

Mama Satela may perform spiritual work concerning a business, career, contract, property, relationship or personal objective. This does not mean that she assumes control of the client’s practical, legal, financial or personal decisions.

 

6. Client Responsibility

Clients remain responsible for their own choices, conduct and decisions before, during and after spiritual work.

A client must not take dangerous, unlawful, threatening, deceptive or financially reckless action because of a spiritual concern, expectation, communication or interpretation.

The decision to:

• Begin, continue or end a relationship

• Marry, separate or reconcile

• Enter or leave employment

• Sign or reject a contract

• Buy or sell property

• Make an investment

• Start, close or alter a business

• Travel or relocate

• Begin, stop or change any treatment

• Take any legal or financial action

remains entirely with the client.

Mama Satela is not responsible for decisions independently made by the client or by another person.

 

7. Other People and External Circumstances

No spiritual practitioner controls another person’s actions, private decisions, legal rights or future conduct.

Mama Satela does not guarantee that another person will communicate, reconcile, commit, separate, marry, remain faithful, sign an agreement, make a purchase, offer employment, approve a transaction or act according to the client’s expectations.

Business, employment, property and financial matters may also be affected by market conditions, laws, contracts, institutions and third parties beyond Mama Satela’s control.

The existence of these external factors does not mean that the agreed spiritual work was not prepared or performed.

 

8. Timing

Any timeframe discussed is an estimate relating to preparation or performance. It is not a guaranteed deadline for an outcome.

Timing may be affected by the complexity of the case, required materials, travel, ceremonial obligations, changing circumstances and factors outside Mama Satela’s reasonable control.

The client may not assume that the absence of an immediate visible change means that no preparation or work has occurred.

9. Website Information

The website describes Mama Satela’s background, traditions, experience and general areas of work.

Website content is not an individual assessment and should not be interpreted as confirmation that:

• A visitor has been spiritually harmed

• A particular person is responsible for a condition

• A spirit or ancestor is present

• A relationship, business or property problem has a spiritual cause

• A particular ceremony or method is required

• Mama Satela will accept the matter

• A specific outcome can be produced

Only a private review of the actual circumstances can determine whether Mama Satela is willing to accept a case.

 

10. Photographs, Videos and Published Materials

Photographs, videos and biographical materials on the website document Mama Satela’s personal path, spiritual background, travels, ceremonies, research and lived experience.

They do not promise that every client’s work will use the same location, ceremony, materials, spirits, tradition or method shown on the website.

Published books, articles, interviews or educational materials are separate from private client work unless expressly incorporated into a written agreement.

 

11. Confidentiality

Client communications and case details are handled privately and with discretion.

Confidentiality is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, including necessary disclosures connected with payment processing, chargebacks, suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, safety concerns, legal requirements and the protection of legal rights.

 

12. No Automatic Client Relationship

Visiting the website, sending an inquiry, submitting information or receiving an initial response does not automatically create a client relationship.

A case is accepted only when Mama Satela expressly confirms acceptance, communicates the proposed work and fee, and receives the required payment.

Mama Satela may accept or decline any request according to her professional, ethical, spiritual and religious judgment.

 

13. Age Requirement

The website and services are intended only for people who are at least twenty-one years of age.

By submitting an inquiry, accepting a proposal or making a payment, the person confirms that they are at least twenty-one years old and legally capable of entering into the agreement.
